REGENESIS: REGENEROSITY PROGRAM

HONOLULU, HI - APRIL 2023

In collaboration with the ReGenerosity Program from REGENESIS Remediation Solutions and Jensen Precast Hawaii: An environmental and engineering program for public students on Oahu!

We are so humbled to share with you our first major grant donation from REGENESIS Remediation Solutions!!! Thanks to their ReGenerosity Program, Red Apple Foundation was able to partner with Jensen Precast Hawaii to provide high school students the unique opportunity to learn about Oahu’s concrete manufacturing industry.

On Saturday, April 29th, Red Apple Foundation completed its very first Environmental Stewardship Program for Spring 2023. This ‘Introduction to Engineering’ workshop provided the basic and fundamental understanding of concrete in today’s construction industry to intermediate and high school students on Oahu.

This program included the introduction of different types of Engineering, careers as an Engineer, concrete and design, a precast manufacturing plant tour, and an engineering design exercise. The students were able to dive into the Engineering world in a classroom environment, design and build an environmentally friendly soda can carrier in an interactive team-based environment, and tour the precast manufacturing plant in a “real-world” environment.

We would like to thank Jensen Precast Hawaii for hosting and collaborating with our organization, and Regenesis for sponsoring our program! Mahalo for your generous contributions, and a special mahalo to Shannon Suangka for coordinating this special donation with Red Apple Foundation - we could not have completed this workshop with you!!

We greatly appreciate the opportunity to expand the mission of REGENESIS Remediation Solutions for a more sustainable, healthy, and compassionate world.
