KAPOLEI MIDDLE SCHOOL

KAPOLEI, HI - DECEMBER 2021

To assure the social & academic growth of every child so that each has the knowledge & ability to be successful in high school

December 22nd, 2021

Kapolei Middle School nestles in the town of Kapolei, which is located on the south shore of O’ahu. In the past, this town was a large contributor to the agriculture business, booming in sugarcane and pineapple production. Recently, much of these lands have been renovated into the homes, centers, and attractions we see today. The remodel of this town has propelled Kapolei into the second largest urban center on O’ahu, second to Honolulu. This transformative feat surely adds to the vibrant and lively people that reside in this town. In fact, Kapolei Middle School students are no exception, with their administrative staff and educators supporting this claim.

To complement the young minds at Kapolei Middle School, the school’s vision is to create an enthusiastic community that promotes life-long learning and success. Red Apple Foundation generously supports this vision and has successfully contributed 10 cement benches to do so. With great intent, Red Apple hopes to provide a creative area in Kapolei Middle School’s campus courtyard where students can read, study, and relax. The Board of Red Apple Foundation wish to personify these benches as “A moment in space that forever holds place”, which explains the brief moments spent on these benches that hopefully capture the fond memories of creativity and growth through learning.

We are honored to partner with the administrators, staff, educators, and students of Kapolei Middle School. More specifically, we would like to give a personal thank you to Principal Fajardo, Vice Principal Sua’ava, Head Security Rodrigo Bucsit, and Campus Security Annette Awai for coordinating with our endeavors. We are also very grateful to Garret Lau, Jonah Mercado, and the staff of Jensen Precast for manufacturing and hauling the concrete benches over to Kapolei Middle. In addition, a very special thank you to Kenny Tom and Al Pico from Advanced Crane & Rigging for generously offloading the benches for us. Of course, none of our efforts would be made possible without our individual donors, or to those that contributed to our fundraising events.

Mixing all of these major components together allowed for us to successfully contribute benches that supports Kapolei Middle School’s mission and vision.

Mahalo, Kapolei Middle School, for partnering with our organization!!!!!!
Once again, thank you very much to everyone who has supported, contributed, and/or made an impact towards our donation to Kapolei Middle School.
